ABOUT ME

Gabriel was exported from the deep south and unpackaged in the mid-south. After forays into poetry, game design, and theater, ze decided to pursue hir original love of writing, thanks to being beaten about the head and shoulders with a clue bat.

Gabriel began writing short stories as fan fiction in 1997, and quickly moved
into working on hir own scripts, manuscripts, and poetry. Ze staged A Mop in the
Elevator, hir first original production, at the University of Memphis in 2000 as a
Theater major.

Now a published author of two novels, seven short stories, a novella, and a gaming system, there is no turning back. Ze happily took up a space in publishing, to the chagrin of hir spouse and niece.

Ze runs the satellite office of Inkstained Succubus in West Memphis, AR. The Lost Laboratory handles submissisons, the art department, edits and formatting for the midwest region, while the Deadly Ninja Sewing Circle attempts to discover new talent.

Ze also runs a formatting business, Kinbaku Formatting, that offers similar services to self-published authors and small presses.

Hir production and photography company, Whizzelfisch Productions, has
worked on four local independent films and has several published photo shoots.

In hir free time, Gabriel enjoys historical reenactment, camping, hiking, roleplaying
games, and sewing. Ze is a proud fairy godparent of two girls and two boys.

Gabriel's current writing interests are varied. Ze intends to continue exploring science-fiction and post-apocalyptic settings, as well as devoting time to engineering more sapiosexual and genderqueer fiction. The gaming system, Mortalus, has debuted successfully at several conventions, and will have a full Beta release later this year, with two modules and a supplement book, Magic and Mystery, by 2016.
